Hello there, and welcome to my site! I am a 2013 graduate of Ball State University, where I earned my B.A. in English as a Creative Writing Major/Professional Writing Minor. My interests lie in using description and rhythm to attempt to bring a love of family, farming, and nature to (what I hope) is an accessible space.

Besides writing, I am also the co-managing editor of the creative nonfiction literary magazine, Embodied Effigies. Currently in its fifth issue, the magazine publishes nonfiction from all walks of life, striving to form a community around writing that creates Truth any way possible, even if that means pushing against genre boundaries.

On this site you’ll find some of my work—writing, editing, and designing—as well as information on the different positions I’ve held. So, feel free to look around, and contact me if you have any questions!
