Hello there, and welcome to my site! I am a 2013 graduate of Ball State University, where I earned my B.A. in English as a Creative Writing Major/Professional Writing Minor. My passion lies in description and rhythm, attempting to bring a love of family, farming, and nature to (what I hope) is an accessible area through the use of lyrical writing.

Besides writing, I am also the co-managing editor of the biannual creative nonfiction literary magazine, Embodied Effigies. Currently in its third issue, the magazine publishes nonfiction from all walks of life, striving to form a community around writing that creates Truth any way possible, even if that means pushing against genre borders.

On this site you’ll find some of my work—writing, editing, and designing—as well as information on the different positions I’ve held. So, feel free to look around, and let me know if you have any questions!
